Canada is a danger zone - Australia's travel advisory

Wow. This is all over the news here in Canada. Australia has issued a travel advisory to its citizens who might consider travelling to Canada.

Get this....there is a danger of terrorist attack, severe cold weather as well as heavy snow  and forest fires...you can read this stuff for yourself...its a bloody joke.

So OK, Australia has never had a forest fire ? Never had a terrorist attack ? They don't get snow but they have big white sharks.

In Canada we have whats called winter heavy snow is a thing that goes with winter but most people get out and enjoy it, so do the skiers. Forest fires ya we have them but Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver haven't burnt down recently. I can't remember the last terrorist attack maybe it was the Fenian raids or the rebellions of 1837 but then I wasn't old enough to remember them. We don't have avalanches here in Ontario, infact driving to work today its -12 C and there's not much snow on the ground.

They forgot some of our more notable dangers....black files that will take flesh from you, mosquitos that will suck your blood and then there's the infamous Canadian beaver. Australian men need to steer clear there they might get beaver fever.

So travellers to Canada beware.....

Man, I've been to Canada countless times and had no idea I was in such danger!!!

- Alberta and British Columbia are also subject to avalanches. -
Well, if you're a back-country skier this is a concern but if you're going to the Calgary Stampede, not so much.

- Australians are advised to maintain a safe and legal distance when observing wildlife, including marine animals and birds. -
Since only Aussies are given this advice I guess people from other nations are made of sterner stuff.

Thanks for the laugh!
